Perspectives, announcements, and sector developments from across the nonprofit and social economy community
Where Do Nonprofit and Social Economy Research Fit into Canada’s Undergraduate Classrooms?
Many post-secondary students in Canada’s colleges & universities have volunteered in the nonprofit sector and engaged in the social economy in some way. However, many do not realize either as topics for higher learning!
Join us for an engaging discussion with Dr. Melanie Bedore, who will share best practices & classroom techniques developed to help students think critically and appreciatively about the sector as a driver of social innovation, as a source of meaningful work, and a space to explore voluntarism, philanthropy, nonprofit capacity building, and philanthrocapitalism.
